The Best Writing Practices for Bloggers You Wish to Know Earlier

Best Writing Blogging Practices - This article looks at some of the best writing practices for bloggers. Blog writing seems to have some differences from writing articles or books. Therefore, bloggers who want to know how to write articles on blogs need to read this article.

Keywords are the core elements of a blog article. However, I will not discuss the keywords of blog articles in this article. If you want to read about keywords, you can go to SEO Keywords. What I will discuss through this blog article is the practice of blog writing that considers the visitor's reading experience.

The following are the best blogging article writing practices for bloggers in .

Blog articles should be short

Reading blog articles is not the same as reading articles or printed books. Although a blog article can be printed (to read later), the majority of visitors spend their time reading blog articles online. They read blog articles on their desktop, tablet, or smartphone screens. Therefore, a blog article should not be long. Long blog articles not only tire the eyes of readers but also drain their internet quota and device battery. Many readers end up leaving a blog article because the size of the article is too long to read. If they read the blog article on their desktop screen, they may save or print the blog article. However, if they read the article through a tablet or smartphone screen, they are more likely to switch to articles on other blogs that are shorter.

Increase font size

No specific rules are governing the font size of blog articles; unlike printed articles which have certain rules with regards to format and size.

Try to think that your blog visitors are reading your blog articles on a smaller screen than the desktop. Small font size will usually bore the reader; although they can increase the size of the browser to read your blog articles, it is rarely done by most people.

Use the font size set provided by Blogger or WordPress to increase the font size of your articles. This will help them read and keep them coming back to your blog tomorrow.

Increase the paragraph line-height

Narrow paragraphs are just as annoying as small font sizes. If you want your readers to feel comfortable reading your blog articles, make sure that your paragraph line-height doesn't hurt the reader's eyes.

Use an indulgent typeface

You may notice that typeface has an impact on how a person feels while reading. There are many types of fonts available online today. But actually, there are only two types of letters, namely (1) letters with acute angles and (2) letters with obtuse angles. I advise you to use blunt angled letters because they can "beautify" the reader's feelings when reading your blog articles.

Use pictures

Images do not only serve to provide visual information to readers so they can understand the content of your blog articles. Images are also able to sweeten your blog so that the reader's eyes don't get tired. Use images that are interesting and relevant to the content of your blog articles but make sure that you do not violate the copyrights associated with these images.

Using images is one of the best writing practices for bloggers. However, bloggers should know that using large images has an impact on blog page load times. If you write a short blog article, the images you use are not too many. You just use a small image so that your blog's load time doesn't slow down.

Don't put ads between paragraphs

I understand that bloggers really want to serve ads on their blogs. As a visitor, you must have had a "bad" experience when you got an ad in the middle of an article. While scrolling the screen, your finger may accidentally click on the ad and open another page.

Ads should not be placed between paragraphs of blog articles. You can put ads at the beginning and the end of the article; why should you put them in the middle of the article? It will annoy the reader.

If you are forced to put an ad in the middle of the article, then make sure the ad is at the end of a section in your article. This is intended to keep the reader's mind focused on the content of your blog article.

Don't put too many links in blog articles

I understand if you want to create backlinks through your articles. The links you place in the articles work like advertisements; readers don't like it if they accidentally click on the link. If you are forced to put a link in your article, make sure that the link leads to a page that is really relevant to your article.
