Using AI in writing your blog posts? Think again!

Well, the advancement of technology has provided bloggers with many helps and solutions, including ideas for blog posts, and the writing of the blog posts. ChatGPT, for example, receives prompts like "write for me a 500 words of a blog post about 'AI vs. human writers.'" Bing AI known as Copilot as well, provides us with automated article writing. Is this a good practice? Do you want to use AI to generate your blog posts under your name? Come on! Think again! If it is not a public lie, what else? In this article, I share with you several reasons why you should not use any AI in writing your blog posts.

AI is unreliable, AI is not creative, using AI is unethical

You are creative and AI is not!

An AI, even the most sophisticated one, is not more creative than you are. Even, AI is not creative at all. When you ask an AI to write your blog posts, it takes information from existing data. It is not able to generate fresh ideas and insights. It cannot represent you as a writer and when someone reads your blog posts, they will feel them dry; there is no emotional touch in your articles if you use AI in writing them.

AI is unreliable!

As a human being, you may make mistakes in writing your articles but you can change later. As a writer, it is your duty to correct and revise your article. Additionally, you are aware whether the information you provide in your blog posts true or not. AI does not have this ability. It does not crosscheck the trustworthiness of the information it gathers from the internet and it does not have the ability to revise by itself. Many scientific journals rejected articles because they are AI-generated. Why? Because the journal editors do not want to publish unreliable information!

It is simply unethical!

There must be honesty in writing. We do not want to plagiarize people articles using AI. Your readers expect that they are reading your ideas, not information gathered by AI from somewhere else. When your readers become aware that you are dishonest in writing your articles, they will leave you.

These three reasons should be enough to make you think why you should not use AI in writing your blog posts. You should always write your own content, using your own words and thoughts. That way, you can ensure that your blog posts are creative, reliable, and ethical. Additionally, by doing so, you show that you care and respect your readers; because blogging is not only about writing words but also building relationship with your readers.
